arrived early in the morning, safe and sound. i picked a hostel with 24 hour reception, so i was able to crawl into bed at 6am and sleep off some of the bus travel.
it´s cold here, but it isn´t raining. everything in this part of cusco is absolutely fine. i wouldn´t have come if i expected otherwise. going to eat some breakfast and try to meet up with tom and manue! then we´ll make a plan. i can´t imagine staying here long with machu picchu the way it is.
Hillary - Glad to hear you are meeting up w/Manue and Tom. Continue to think about being safe and staying safe. Watch your back. Eat, sleep & be happy. So proud of you. Sorry you won't get to see Macchu Picchu but no one else will either - or not for a long time. There is always another time. CC Linda: going to visit friends for the weekend.
